OVERSEAS SUPPORT

OVERSEAS SUPPORT

Hani Shadad

As a church, we partner with Hani Shadad, who is an Elim pastor and missionary. He serves in a self-funding role as the Elim Africa Regional Leader and as a member of the Board of Elim Global, looking after 26 nations across Africa. Hani describes himself as ‘a missionary at heart’.

His vision is to see every nation in Africa reached in a new way. His hope is to keep developing leaders who build sustainable churches that provide for themselves and add value to their local community; reaching all the surrounding villages and towns, and supporting those in need.

Hani is so thankful for all the ongoing support and love.

McDonough family

We also partner with the incredible McDonough family, who have been involved in overseas missions since 2002.

John served in Ecuador in 2002/2003 and Rachel worked with Elim Honduras in 2005. Both of their experiences in South America gave them a real passion for the continent.

They moved to work full time in Paraguay in 2009. From 2010 to 2012 they served Elim Honduras. They supported the youth work, did some administration, and helped with Project Joseph, the children’s outreach programme.

In September 2012, they pioneered a ministry into First Nation communities, reaching those who have not yet heard the Gospel message. They studied Guarani, the indigenous language, so that they could better share the Gospel and are now working amongst Guarani indigenous communities.

John and Rachel have two children – Alicia and Jesse.
